Fred Meyer Email & Template System

Objective: Create a multi–functional template system to increase in–house productivity while providing customers with a consistent user experience. Implement adaptive elements to create a seamless smart phone experience. Set up best practices and standards for interactive design and front–end development.

Methods: Wireframes followed by Quick–and–dirty prototyping to establish features. In–house focus group discussions to gather feedback.

Concept and Construction: When I arrived at Fred Meyer I discovered the interactive group did not utilize a definable digital brand or unified templating system.

Outcome: The templating system has proven to be robust yet flexible—thus allowing the account and merchant teams the ability to present prodct as needed. Ultimately, the introduction of these processes and systems has allowed my group to increase quality of work while also being more efficient. Within six months the new system was in place and productivity increased exponentially.
