Moonlight Basin Multi Audience Art Direction

Objective: Create distinct messaging for the Resort’s numerous customer segments.

Methods: Interviews with workers and snow sports enthusiasts to determine how they perceive Moonlight Basin. Analysis of competitors’ marketing/advertising and on–hill facilities.

Concept and Construction: I was responsible for setting the Creative and Art Direction for all advertising and marketing materials during the redesign of Moonlight Basin’s visual language during 2009–2010. With some of the most challenging in–bound terrain in the lower 48 states, while at the same time being next door to some of the country–s finest resorts translated into bold, memorable visual ads. Note–Moonlight Basin was incorporated into Big Sky Result in 2012.

Outcome: Visually strong advertising addressing targeted audiences which help establish the Resort’s personality.
